utility infrastructre

I would like to see Minneapolis go towards a consolidated utility infrastructure model. Not to own the utilities, but to just own the infrastructure to deliver those utilities. The city already owns, manages, builds all everything for water, sewer & storm drains. Consolidating things even more by including electric, gas, phone & internet would help save a lot of duplicate efforts, support crew, locations, right of ways. ...more »
